Keep your existing school platform for attendance, payments, timetables and communication. MetaPet School performs a different job: it gives children a bounded learning experience without requiring another student identity system.
It is not a school-management system, a learning management system, a parent portal or a behaviour-points platform.
What children do
Seven sessions, about 15–20 minutes each. Each one gives a class one instruction at a time, one reflection question, and a visible stopping point.

- Read the SignalsLook at the companion's signals, name one, and choose a settling action.
- One Identity, Many RepresentationsCompare two views of the same companion and find what stayed the same.
- Choices and AlgorithmsPredict what one action will do, try it, then reset and try a different order.
- Privacy and Responsible DesignSort what a system should keep, should ask about, and should never keep.
- Design a Better FeatureChange one part of the design and say who your change helps.
- Test, Reflect and ImproveTest one idea, find a pattern from earlier sessions, and explain it.

Field Mode caches its pages so a session can survive a dropped connection mid-lesson, and every session has a printable fallback. Full offline operation has not been verified across school hardware yet.
What happens to the data?
No student account, student email, real name, photo or login is required by the classroom build. Classroom record contents stay in this browser on this device during routine use. The supervising adult can delete the covered classroom records immediately from the local-data controls or by clearing this site's browser data.
- What is stored?
- Teacher-chosen aliases, lesson progress, classroom setup choices, class summary counts and any light evidence a teacher records.
- Where is it stored?
- Classroom record contents stay in this browser on this device during routine use. Routine classroom use does not sync those record contents to B$S.
- Why is it needed?
- So a class can pause and resume a session, and so a teacher can review light evidence without re-running the lesson.
- Who can see it?
- Anyone using this browser profile on this device. That is why it belongs on a teacher-controlled device or browser profile.
- When does it disappear?
- After 35 days without use, expired classroom records are removed when a school route next opens; a website cannot erase browser storage while it is closed.
- How does a teacher delete it?
- From the local-data controls, with an explicit confirmation. No deletion request to the studio is needed.
- What is never required?
- No student account, student email, real name, photo or login is required by the classroom build.
After 35 days without use, inactive records are cleared when a school route next opens. We are not claiming there is no data, no risk, or blanket regulatory compliance — the accurate statement is narrower: routine classroom use does not submit classroom-record contents to B$S, the host still receives ordinary page requests, and deletion is in a supervising adult's hands.

MetaPet School costs money to build and maintain. But children should not pay through exclusion, advertising, attention capture or behavioural data. So the complete classroom experience is free, and contributions from schools that can afford them help sustain it.
