What this notice covers

This notice explains the school-facing MetaPet Schools pilot build. It does not describe adult-only or experimental Meta-Pet routes outside the school deployment.

Classroom privacy position

The school build uses alias-based classroom setup

Student accounts are not required

Routine classroom use stores records on the local device

Routine classroom use does not submit classroom-record contents to B$S

The site host still receives ordinary page requests

Classroom routes do not load advertising or behavioural tracking

Teachers control whether any pilot evidence is exported

Local records that may exist

Learner aliases

Lesson setup and timing

Local progress states

Local summary counts for pilot evidence

Records the school build does not require by default

Student email addresses

Usernames and passwords

Public profiles

Open chat or social posting

Retention and deletion

Local pilot data is intended to be short-term

Teachers can delete local school data from the runtime

The supervising adult can also clear the site's browser data

The current pilot configuration removes expired records when a school route next opens after 35 days without use; the site cannot erase browser storage while it is closed

Schools should review the full privacy policy, data inventory, retention schedule, and pilot protocol before deciding whether and how to proceed with a classroom pilot.
